Dan Shafto - Lead Guide / Permitting / Staff

Dan lives in Marshfield, MA and and is a Wilderness Medical Associates certified Wilderness First Responder and an American Red Cross CPR/AED provider.

He has also worked for three seasons with Global Routes/Windsor Mountain, leading teenagers on service programs to developing countries and on camping trips around the US, guiding students in various outdoor activities including hiking, rafting, and rock climbing, and teaching outdoor skills and leadership. He has extensive personal experience hiking and canoeing. In 2013, he hiked the 500-mile Camino de Santiago across northern Spain.
